I am running out of time so this will be very, very quick. Things are good here. This is the end of my 9th transfer. On Monday, we will have transfer conference and transfer day is on Wednesday. I might lose a PDay, so we will see! Sister Hadzik and I will probably get split up because this is my last week of training! Yesterday, they announced who was going where for outbound. They used to tell us 2 days before we left where we are going, but now they tell you on the same day. That’s so much better ’cause it’s way less stressful. I remember I was stressed out of my mind and scrambling to get everything ready to leave for outbound.
Anyways, nothing super exciting happened. We are taking tours and teaching people. Our whole teaching pool is basically all Chinese people and 1 German girl. Sister Hadzik is patient though. Even though she doesn’t understand the language, she loves the Chinese people and is so willing to teach them. The German investigator actually came to Temple Square today! Unfortunately, I had to take a Mandarin tour so we had to go on exchanges, so I didn’t get to meet the girl. She sounds very eager to learn though!
The only thing I want to share is this video that came out this last week on the Church website: http://www.mormonchannel.org/video/mormon-messages?v=3701964025001
It is AMAZING. To summarize this video, God is always there. He hears your prayers and He loves you. However, we need to do our own part. We need to put in the effort to find out for ourselves whether or not He really is there. We need to pay attention to the still small voice of the Holy Ghost. This last week, a couple of our investigators dropped us. Yeah I’m disappointed and sad because they said they never got answers, but I guess that’s where our agency comes into play. You won’t receive an answer if you never do anything. If that sincere desire isn’t there and you’re not willing to do all you can to find the truth, then you won’t find your answer. I know God has a plan and I trust Him.
Have a great week everyone! I love and miss you all.
